SMRT Learning Journey is an educational outreach programme that shares the story behind what goes into your daily commute. The programme caters specifically for students from local Secondary and Junior College schools, and Institutes of Higher Learning, as well as grassroots leaders.
SMRT Learning Journey brings participants to Kim Chuan Depot, the world’s largest underground depot and home to the fully‑automated Circle Line. The programme highlights safety and security features within our train network and offer participants a glimpse into our behind-the-scenes activities.
Learning Journeys are conducted only as a group for 40 to 60 pax on alternate Thursdays, from 2pm to 4pm. Admission is free. Photography is not allowed.

ART IN TRANSIT
SMRT believes in supporting the local arts scene. Since 2011, we have been working with Art Outreach, a non-profit organisation that promotes art education in Singapore, to conduct the Art in Transit tour. This is an art tour of the city’s public train stations, highlighting a series of key artwork and installations along the Circle Line. This guided tour showcases works created by Singaporean artists that reflect the cultural and historical heritage of the community and the area around the station.
Participants on Arts in Transit tours observing the "Dreams in Social Cosmic Odyssey" installation.
