Ms Ng Shin Ein is a Director of SMRT Trains Ltd.

Ms Ng is the co-founder of Gryphus Capital, a private equity firm. She has extensive experience in corporate governance, investments and capital markets. She was previously with the Singapore Exchange, where she contributed to the development of Singapore’s capital markets and the listing of international companies, and served on its IPO Approval Committee.

Ms Ng began her career as a corporate lawyer at Lee & Lee, advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and fundraisings. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1998.

She has served on the boards of listed companies in Singapore, the United States and Australia, as well as public institutions, supporting organisations through investments, privatisation strategy and transformation initiatives. She currently serves on the boards of Singapore Pools, Singapore Land Group and CSE Global, and has previously served on the boards of Grab Holdings Inc, StarHub Ltd and FairPrice. She also serves as Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Hungary, and in 2021 was conferred the Commander’s Cross, Order of Merit of Hungary.
