To facilitate systems integration testing, the Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT) will be closed for two Sundays on 31 August and 21 September 2025. This is needed to provide a longer period for continuous testing of the new signalling system simulating actual operating conditions, thereby ensuring that the various BPLRT systems can operate safely and reliably when they are rolled out for commuter service. Similar to previous full-day closures, a shuttle bus service, LRT Shuttle B, will be provided on 31 August and 21 September 2025. It will operate in the direction of BPLRT Service B, at a frequency of 5 to 15 minutes.
