SMRT is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Tan Tee How as a Director of SMRT Corporation Ltd effective 1 April 2026.

Mr Tan brings with him more than 34 years of distinguished leadership experience from the Singapore Public Service and corporate sector. Over the course of this career, he held several senior appointments, including Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as Commissioner of Inland Revenue and Chief Executive Officer of IRAS. With his extensive experience in public administration, governance and organisational leadership, Mr Tan will further strengthen the Board’s collective capabilities and contribute valuable perspectives to SMRT’s strategic oversight and long-term development.

He currently serves as Chairman of the National Healthcare Group and ICE Singapore Holdings Pte Ltd, and holds several chairmanships and directorships across the financial, healthcare, and technology sectors. His full profile is provided in the Annex.
