Daily MRT train services to commence at four new stations along Tuas West Extension from 18 June 2017

Daily MRT train services to commence at four new stations along Tuas West Extension from 18 June 2017

1.    MRT train services will commence operations daily from four new stations at the Tuas West Extension along the East-West Line (EWL) from Sunday, 18 June 2017. This will provide commuters travelling to and from western Singapore better connectivity and more convenient travel.

2.    Train services along the Tuas West Extension will operate at an interval of four to five minutes during peak hours and at eight to 10 minute intervals during non-peak hours. This would mean that every alternate train will proceed to Tuas after Joo Koon station.

3.    Commuters at the platform can identify Tuas–bound trains by referring to the platform display screens which will indicate the last station the train is heading to. In-train announcements will also be played to inform commuters of trains terminating at Joo Koon MRT station.

4.    MRT train service timings for the four new stations – Tuas Link, Tuas West Road, Tuas Crescent and Gul Circle MRT stations – are shown in the tables below.
