We thank Mr Lin Minqing for his suggestion on the retail spaces at Simei MRT station (“Suggestion to open a supermarket at Simei MRT station”, 14 Aug 2021). After reviewing offers for the space, we would like to share that residents can expect a new supermarket outlet to open at the station by the end of this year, if things proceed as planned. We appreciate residents in the vicinity for their patience as they wait for the supermarket to get ready to open and serve customers.
