| A new platform and track has been added to Jurong East MRT Station to facilitate a faster passage of trains at this station during peak travel periods and together with the delivery of new trains, commuters can look forward to a shorter wait for trains and a more comfortable ride. |

| This is part of the Jurong East Modification Project (JEMP), a key infrastructural upgrading initiative by the Land Transport Authority. |

| North South Line trains will arrive at /depart from either Platform A (the new platform) or Platforms D/E on weekdays (excluding public holidays) between 7am and 10am , and 5pm and 8pm . All other times, North South Line trains heading towards Ang Mo Kio and Woodlands will arrive at / depart from Platform D or E. |

| There will be ample directional signage at the station, and platform layout plans are available at all platforms. Our station staff and Service Ambassadors will also be happy to assist you. |

| Removal of Train Service from Ang Mo Kio to Pasir Ris (via Jurong East) |
| |
| From 27 December 2011, train service from Ang Mo Kio to Pasir Ris (via Jurong East) will no longer be available. The removal of this service will enable more train trips to be added to the East-West lines, improving train frequency and carrying capacity for all commuters. |
