| |
| How are these stations affected? |
Alternate North-bound trains on the North-South Line will terminate its service at Choa Chu Kang Station.
North-bound commuters travelling towards Jurong East Station may need to detrain at Choa Chu Kang Station and board the next train bound for Bukit Batok station. When commuters arrive at Bukit Batok Station, they will need to exit the station and continue their journey to Jurong East on the shuttle bus service provided.
South-bound commuters will need to take the shuttle bus service from Jurong East Station to Bukit Batok and board the train from Bukit Batok Station.
Trains will be travelling at a slower speed between Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Gombak Stations. Commuters travelling through these affected stations may experience longer journey times due to longer headways.
Do pay attention to service announcements and look out for directional signs when travelling in the MRT network during the above mentioned weekend.
While we have made considerable effort to provide a smooth journey, inconveniences and longer travelling time are unavoidable. We seek all commuters’ understanding. |
