SMRT first put a MAN bus on trial service in March 2011, and we received positive feedback of the bus from commuters and Service Leaders alike. Because of your feedback, you can now enjoy smooth, safe and comfortable rides as we progressively roll out 200 MAN A22 buses from now till end 2012.
This wheelchair-accessible bus has a state-of-the-art fully flat, low floor configuration designed for the convenience of quicker boarding and the safety of passengers. This 38-seater can carry a total of 90 seated and standing passengers, with one space for a passenger-in-wheelchair. The bus is also Euro 5 compliant, making it an environmentally-friendly bus.
