Our beneficiaries
 
1) Alzheimer's Disease Association - Specialised Caregiver Support Service (Dementia)
 
The programme seeks to support caregivers of persons with dementia, raise awareness of dementia caregiving as well as to develop support services for caregivers to better care for their loved ones.
 
 
2) Asian Women's Welfare Association Centre for Caregivers
 
The Association acknowledges and supports caregivers in their efforts and their needs through raising awareness, providing and coordinating caregiving resources, training and other services. It also seeks to raise awareness of caregiving as well as to develop support services for caregivers to better care for their loved ones.
 
 
3) Bright Hill Evergreen Home
 
The Home provides medical and nursing care for the elderly sick, low income and those dependent on public assistance. It also aims to provide residential facilities for the elderly with various activities such as physiotherapy, handicrafts, in-house entertainment programmes and social outings.
 
 
4) Care Corner Family Service Centre (Toa Payoh) - Caregiver Support Service
 
The Centre supports caregivers by meeting their need for information, referral and service coordination. It also organises relevant training and outreach efforts to enable caregivers to better care for their loved ones.
 
 
5) Geylang East Home for the Aged
 
The Home was founded in 1978 and managed fully by a team of dedicated volunteers. It has provided many destitute with a place of comfort for over 27 years. As it is not a member of the Community Chest, it is dependent on donations from well-wishers, public and it also organises events and activities to raise funds to defray expenses. The Home provides a place of abode and proper care to aged persons who are in need, including the provision of recreational facilities, community-based day care, befriending services, rehabilitation services as well as other charitable services and assistance to the elderly.
 
 
6) Metta Hospice Care
 
The Hospice provides hospice home care, including medical, nursing and social work support for patients with life-limiting illnesses. In addition, it offers social support for individuals, families and caregivers to cope with the illnesses of their loved ones, educates the public and provides training in hospice care.
 
 
7) Singapore Leprosy Relief Association Home
 
The Home aims to promote the welfare, relief and rehabilitation of persons suffering from leprosy. It provides a home for ex-leprosy patients who have been rejected by their families because of their deformities. It organises social and recreational activities such as tours, outings and parties to alleviate the suffering of the residents and to make their lives more meaningful.
 
 
8) Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund - Helping Elderly Patients Programme
 
The Programme seeks to help elderly needy and chronically sick patients and their families with their medical and healthcare costs. The assistance rendered includes rental, purchase and repair of assistive equipment such as oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs or even dentures; non-standard but necessary medication; medical-related expenses such as surgeries, dialysis and other medical treatment; purchase of daily medical needs such as stoma bags, milk feeds and adult diapers; interim care for discharged patients who are waiting for vacancies in nursing homes, as well as other needs such as transport for needy immobile elderly patients.
