2000 and was listed on the Singapore Exchange
on 26 July 2000. The company enjoys an annual
turnover of nearly S$700 million and has total
assets worth more than S$1.4 billion. |

| SMRT Trains Ltd (SMRT Trains) |
| |
| SMRT Trains Ltd was incorporated in 1987 and
operates the first mass rapid transit system in
Singapore. The 89.4 km MRT system, which consists
of the North South and East West lines stretching
over 51 stations along major high density travel
corridors, serves more than a million passengers
daily. |

| In future the system will expand to include
the Circle Line (CCL), which is a fully underground
orbital system linking all radial lines leading
to the city. The CCL is 33.3 km long with 29 stations
and will interchange with the North South Line,
East West Line and North East Line. |

| SMRT Investments Pte Ltd (SMRT Investments)

| SMRT Investments was set up on 9 March 2000.
Its principal activities are in the marketing
and leasing of media spaces as well as the marketing,
leasing and management of commercial spaces within
the SMRT network. |

| SMRT Engineering Pte Ltd (SMRT Engineering)

| |
| SMRT Engineering was set up on August 1999.
It offers one stop consulting services from project
conceptualisation to operations, maintenance and
related assignments. SMRT owns 100% of SMRT Engineering. |

| SMRT Light Rail Pte Ltd (SMRT Light
Rail) |
| |
| SMRT Light Rail Pte Ltd was set up in 1997 and
operates Singapore's first fully automated light
rapid transit (LRT) system - the Bukit Panjang
LRT system. The LRT system includes approximately
7.8 km of elevated guideways stretching over 14
stations. |

| SMRT Taxis manages a fleet of over 3,000 taxis,
including Prestige Mercedes, London taxis and
SMRT SPACE MPV taxis. |

| SMRT Motors provides maintenance and repair
services. It operates out of three workshops in
Ang Mo Kio, Woodlands and Kranji. |

| SMRT Buses operates a fleet of more than 800
buses from five interchanges. Its trunk, feeder
and night bus services attract a daily ridership

| Bus-Plus, incorporated in 1994, operates a fleet
of 47 air-conditioned buses that are primarily
for charter and charter services. |

| A service company set up by SMRT and SBS Transit
to ensure efficient and effective fare and network
integration as well as to serve as a one-stop
resource for information pertaining to public
transport services in Singapore. TransitLink is
